0:17.8	This is episode number 434.5, and today I'm going to tell you about a couple of my favorite
0:24.6	Backlist titles about sapphic vampires.
0:28.4	So it is October, and I hope that you are all enjoying it so far.
0:35.3	This has been a year that I am really into spooky season.
0:40.9	I usually read a little bit of horror in October, and generally I don't read it at all the
0:45.7	rest of the year, but for some reason this year it crept into even my summer reading,
0:52.2	and I have been really enjoying it.
0:54.1	I don't know what it is about this year where I'm finally open to horror and open to admitting
1:00.2	that maybe this is a genre that I genuinely like, and not just for the Halloween of it.
1:07.2	But now that we've actually reached October, I have checked out so many horror books, especially
1:13.9	queer horror books from the library.
1:16.5	It's kind of embarrassing.
1:17.7	I have more holds that are waiting to come in.
1:20.6	I think I put about 30 on hold, so we'll see how that goes.
1:26.4	Obviously I'm not going to be able to read all of them, but I am really excited about
1:31.0	them.
1:32.0	I want to read a ton of them.
1:33.0	And that's not even counting the books that I own that are horror books.
1:37.7	And then there's the e-books on my Kindle, which I tried not to think about.
1:41.6	I pretend that that doesn't count towards my TBR, so I have a lot of books I want to read.
