We're all approaching the end of the year, and it's tough out there.

I think a lot of us are feeling pretty defeated.

And now is the great time for some easy wins, for some easy reads, I think, especially if you're looking at your reading challenge for the year and you're maybe a little short of where

you wanted to be, a great choice is picking up some manga series. If you don't read manga,

you're really missing out. It's basically just a format, so it's a huge variety that's under

that umbrella, every conceivable genre.

But one of the things I love about the format is that they tend to be really quick reads,

obviously graphic novels.

In general, comics tend to go faster.

But something about, I think because manga has usually been serialized in a magazine before

it makes it into the volumes, they feel very quick.
