This is episode number 343 and a half, and today I'm going to talk about a couple backlist titles that I'm excited to share with you.

Hi, everyone! Happy New Year!

I know that time is arbitrary, and calendars are social constructs, and January 1st isn't the start of the New Year for every culture.

But it's the one that my family has traditions around, and I'm happy about the fresh start feeling.

My wife and I sat around for about three hours and did some goal setting and intention setting last week.

One of mine is to not look at my phone while I'm eating as a way to practice being present.

I like food, I like eating, and I'd like to be able to appreciate the process, which I definitely don't do if I'm hunched over my phone.

Another plan is to not start any projects after 8 p.m.

If I started something earlier and I'm still doing it fine, but starting like a book reorg after 8 p.m.,

it's just going to get me all riled up, and then my sleep that night will not be good at all.

This year is also the year I'm going to get into making pasta.
