While we are all experiencing the bye week here in Washington, D.C., and spending some time with

their families and getting away from hockey, J.J. Regan, I don't know if it's drawing the short

straw on this one, or if this is actually a desirable thing to get away from the family

and actually be working during this. But J.J. Regan is in St. Louis for All-Star festivities, which we are recording this on

Friday afternoon. So they haven't really hit the ice, but what's the scene like as you're not

only in the All-Star host city, but also the city that's still celebrating their Stanley Cup.

So there's definitely some buzz.

The only reason I drew the short straw.

McNally went when it was in San Jose, and this year I get snowy St. Louis.

I'm still happy to be here, but in that sense, I did draw the short shot. Not to rub it in, man. It was sweet. It was really nice. It was a scene, though. I mean, it's chaotic, man. Media Day gets a little bit out of control. You got guys coming in. They're at podiums. Last year, they let fans in, and the fans would, like, shout questions over you.

I don't know if they fixed that particular bug, but it got kind of weird.

So what was Media Day like?

The word chaos does not adequately describe what Media Day was like.

There were fans there, but there weren't so many fan questions.

Layla Anderson did go make the rounds and have a few questions.
