0:00.0	Today I'm going to start with a little story, very little story, years and years and years and years and years ago.
0:07.7	Back in, I don't know, it was like sometime in the 1900s in the last millennium.
0:12.7	So long ago and far, well, not that far away from me, I had a friend who fornicated.
0:19.5	They had made a real serious, sinful mistake. I mean, it wasn't
0:23.6	just a mistake that makes it act like they don't have agency. They had sinned. And they
0:28.6	have received grace and God has forgiven them for it. But what happened after they sin was
0:32.6	disturbing on a deep level to me. I'm going to share it with you so you can feel the same disturbing nature,
0:38.3	so you'll understand why it's wrong to say that all sin is the same.
0:41.3	That's the first question today.
0:43.3	Should we think that all sin is the same?
0:46.3	And the answer is going to be no, but I think the important thing is not me to weigh in on it.
0:50.3	It's us to look at scripture, specific verses and understand.
0:53.3	But here's an example of why that can be important.
0:56.0	This friend of mine had sex outside of marriage and did so somewhat impulsively, experimentally.
1:04.0	And later on they told me about it.
1:08.0	And I was very young as well, and was I was shocked that they had done this
1:13.5	I thought they wouldn't do this they would they wouldn't go down that route I know lots of people my age were and I didn't expect them to
1:20.1	And again God has grace and mercy and can forgive
1:22.8	But what they said afterwards shocked me because they saw the shock in my face they saw the the
1:28.7	grief in my face about this issue that this thing they had done and then they said to me well
