So for the students in this by now you know the Miles Brennan news significant arm injury

a reported 24-7 sports believe it was Shade Dixon who first reported that is going to be a break

in the arm for Miles Brennan and that means that it's Max Johnson time in Baton Rouge and so we

found that out after we recorded so there's a reference in today's pot about Miles Brennan

and Max Johnson about who should have been third team all SEC that's beside the point

I wanted to throw this at the top just because I think I wanted to provide some context

just on Miles Brennan and I think we forget sometimes with some of these kids who have been around

for so long that this this is just such devastating news and for Miles Brennan who was committed

while Les Miles was the coach this is just it's brutal it's absolutely brutal and for somebody

who did the old-fashioned thing waited till year four to start at LSU and gained weight and tried

to quiet the doubts about his durability and that he could play quarterback in the SEC and worked

his tail off and then he just has two devastating injuries and you feel for the kid and obviously

this is just one of the brutal realities of college football but now you turn to Max Johnson

and you have a backup and Garrett Nuss Meyer who's been getting rave reviews in camp out of Baton

Rouge but this situation feels a little bit potentially reminiscent of 2017 Georgia and 2017

Georgia the way that starts out with Jacob Beeson as the sophomore quarterback and hopefully hopefully

Max Johnson doesn't have a similar fate as Jacob Beeson with that season ending well not season
