With Ali Maxwell and with George Ehrlich, we've been battered and bruised by the Yule season.

I think it's fair to say.

And off the back of a big old session yesterday, but couldn't wait to sit down and record

another podcast, George, because it was a hell of a weekend of action.

In fact, there was midweek action as well since we last spoke on the Monday pod.

Certainly in the championship, it felt like one of the best days of championship football

that we've seen for quite a while on Saturday. Yeah, lots of drama. Shame I was freezing my

toes off in Stadium MK whilst it was all unfolding, but obviously I've caught up on it. And yeah,

as you say, lots of drama, the Birmingham West Brom, Derby didn't disappoint at all,

although I suppose Birmingham fans would have certainly left disappointed that their team squanded

a 2-1 lead to lose that game 3-2.

We've, of course, got the Leeds Cardiff game.

We don't normally talk about draws, but I have a feeling we're going to be talking about

that one.

Sabri Lemoushi's Nottingam Forrest continues to show maybe what their true colours are

or their true level is the season with a disappointing defeat in a bad runoff form and a

goalfest at Barnsley.

So plenty to talk about.
