Welcome back to the latest edition of the Audible presented by Trader Joe's.

I am Bruce Feldman, joined, as always, by my colleague, Stuart Mandel.

And we had a classic game last night, Stu.

A riveting.

I don't know how long it went.

I don't care that it went seemingly like four plus hours and there was obviously a bunch

of reviews.

But Notre Dame Clemson, it lived up to whatever hype there reviews but Notre Dame Clemson it lived up to

whatever hype there was I know Clemson wasn't entirely at full strength but um man what a fun game that

was it really was I could have done without the the interminable replay reviews but nonetheless

um Saturday Night Live could wait.

You know, it's interesting because this is one of the few big games,

maybe one of the only ones, that kept its original date.

You know, if you, I can remember looking at the schedule for 2020 as soon as 2019 ended,

and there it was November 7th, Clemson at Notre Dame, at nondon at nondonference game so we we did it it happened and now i'll be honest i think i've

been too jaded by one too many nether name close calls over the years never quite pulling

it off in these big games i did not think

clompson was going to lose the game i didn't even like it just assumed clompson would eventually

pull it out until probably the second of the back-to-back sacks in overtime that that's how much

i was conditioned to thinking, well, eventually they'll

find a way to lose the game. But clearly I was wrong. Clearly, this is a new day for the Irish.

I give them nothing but credit for the way they, there's nothing fluky about the way they won
