Summary

Living with physical, mental, or emotional pain can leave us questioning God's love and goodness for our lives, but as today's "First Monday Story" reminds us, all pain matters to God, as it's an invitation to know and be known by Him.

Listen in as Lindsay Wells, from our Charleston, South Carolina community, shares her journey of living with chronic back pain and how coming to terms with her suffering is what led her to truly understand and experience God's presence.  This is a story that will remind you that the Lord is in the midst of your pain, and, as Lindsay so sweetly says, "that's a really beautiful thing."

Finding God in the details is an incredible two and a half hour workshop where you are able to really just lean in to God's voice, discover the story lines of your life. It's really not just about discovering one story, but just the storylines and how God has shown up throughout the years. It's really an incredible time. We've got such great feedback on it. So if you've been interested in doing that and you don't live near the Birmingham area, this is your workshop to do this time, October 29. So we are so excited for you to do that, Robin. gosh, it's funny. I feel like there's people that know me from a lot of different seasons of life, but it's kind of fun that you guys don't.

But I grew up with two older brothers. They're like four, each like four years apart. So it was very much, you top it out type of situation. It was really fun. We like did a lot, but it was constantly, how do I prove that I'm big enough and tough enough and strong enough and adequate enough to be in the space wherever they were? And so we played a lot of sports growing up. There was never like free time after school, which is like funny to think about. But it all started whenever I was in eighth grade. It wasn't because of my siblings or anything, but I never really had the personality where when
