I sure love to direct football. You should be a director of football in many ways.

I mean, I definitely, I went through a phase of thinking that, and then I thought, no, come on, you're dramatically underplaying how complex it is.

But then with all of these, you know, Amazon documentaries, when you really see what's going

on at a football club, yes, some random internet dickhead could probably do a better job than

the majority of director of footballers.

So speaking of which, what was your reaction when you heard that Spurs were going to be

doing a documentary?

Just sort of abject horror.

I guess it's comical because of like, you know, it's perfect comedy timing because

we've had several brilliant season where there's been so much to celebrate, so much to document.

Imagine if we'd have documented the final season at Whitehart Lane what a brilliant season

that was what brilliant football we played what a story that is what a finale what final episode

as it were that would have been to commemorate that wonderful stadium but of course we're not

doing that season we're doing the one where everything falls apart I mean even last season it wasn't the perfect season by any stretch, but there would have been such a

great story with the Champions League run and moving into the new stadium. It would have been
