I am your host for the next however long it takes for me to feel the need to go to bed.

Yes, there's a lot of stuff going on in the world.

And we're going to cover as much of it as we can until I start yawning uncontrollably.

I want to start off congratulations to the state of Texas.

You managed to pass your redistricting plan.

Now comes the long, drawn-out legal battle from the people who tell you this is what democracy looks like.

And the people who talk about threats to democracy and blah, they will now run to the courts if they haven't already and maybe by the time we wake

up there'll be an injunction against this going well we need to slow this down and pump the brakes

because that's how democrats work but you did it you did it the Democrats

you outlasts the Democrats the cowards I'm not sure who votes for somebody who's seemingly

main accomplishment is when the chips are down we'll get the hell out of dodge vote for me

I will flee okay there, there you go.

But now, of course, Democrats are moving to try and even the score and level the playing

field and really stick it to those Republicans.

So the problem is they've already done all of those things.

Well, I'm not leveling the pain field or even the score.

They're the ones who ran up the score.

They're the ones who did the
