Today on Marvel News Daily, the rumors are flying fast and furiously around Marvel's upcoming She-Hulk series for Disney Plus,

starting with how it's expected to begin filming this summer for a 2021 release. There's a tremendous groundswell of support for Brooklyn 9-9 actress Stephanie Beatrice in the title role,

and she has proven that she would be a great for that balance of comedy and action.

But the big rumor is that Marvel is reportedly looking for an Allison Brie type.

And I say, instead of an Alice in Bree type, how about Allison Brie?

Sure, she's an unconventional choice, and I admit that the community actress is small in stature. But keep in mind that she has taken on a physically demanding role for Netflix's Glow as one of the glorious ladies of wrestling, the Russian heel Zoya.

And I totally get choices like Gina Carrano or Rhonda Rousey for Sheholt, but remember, she's not always necessarily in Shehulk for her. We will need a great actress to portray Jennifer Walters in human form at some point.

I mean, think about it.

Did Bill Bixby look like the Hulk?

Did Ed Norton?

Does Mark Ruffalo?

Look, I'll give you Eric Bennett.

That guy is definitely a bit of a Hulk.

But let's not assume that we need someone who was built like She-Hulk to play She-Hulk.
