And I think today is a good day to revisit the trade. D.

There were two anecdotes posted in the last couple of days that really resonated with me.

First was Zach Lowe tweeting out. You know, every time I watched Luca Donchich play for the Lakers, I feel like I'm

hallucinating. I very much relate to that. And Tim McMahon had some reporting where Max Christie

was talking about, man, you know how we always talk about the novella on here, right?

And one of the hallmarks of a good novella is the wild emotional swings that it can take you

through. And the Lakers had just beaten the Knicks when the Luca trade went down to the point

where all the guys, they were all like, I don't know exactly where they were when

they found out, but they were together, right? It was either, you know, in the locker room on the bus.

AD was not in New York famously because he had gone home because of the injury, but Max was. Max was

there, right? And so he's just talking about I was in my hotel room. I got zero sleep that night. I sat on my hotel room floor for a couple hours. So just think about that experience. And Max balled out in that game. And so he goes from this high of like, yo, on national TV on a Saturday. Look at Max Christie. There's this coming out party to, bro, you just got traded.

And so I still find myself going, I can't believe I'm watching what I'm watching and we're on this
