We are recording this on Monday afternoon, and as we speak, in fact, Donald Trump is meeting

Kia Stama up in Scotland, and we wanted to take this opportunity to talk about that, and to

talk about the meetings that have happened over the weekend. And this strange sense of Donald Trump, the sort of Caesar Emperor,

visiting his vassal state over here,

and holding court up at his own private residence in Scotland.

He has a number of golf courses, where he's kind of Mar-a-Lago in Scotland,

it seems like. And you had this extraordinary sight of Ursula von der Leyen, traveling to Brexit,

Britain, to visit Donald Trump, and to agree a trade deal which has infuriated many across Europe

at how lopsided it appears to be and how much the

Europeans appeared to have caved to his demand. So, Megan, you are Canadian originally. So I think you

come with an interesting perspective because you can sort of talk us through the different tactics

that the different

global leaders have used against Trump from the kind of Carney approach, which is much more

aggressive to the Stama approach at the other end of the perspective, which has obviously been

much more kind of fawning and has achieved on the face of it a better trade deal than the one

that the European Union have gone. So, Megan, do you want to tell us from a sort of diplomatic
