We bring Lenny. The only NFL podcast where one of the hosts thinks it was totally fine for

Alex Smith to play keep away with the ball last night because that's how he plays.

That's Lenny. I mean, it comes. Stephen Ruiz, my guest for the show. Do you think if it was

any quarterback other than Alex Smith who walked off the field with the ball, thus manipulating

the clock, perhaps unintentionally, it would be a hot topic on the morning shows. Let me

pick a quarterback. Let's say it's Tom Brady. How does everyone react?

I mean, it's a total meltdown. Even if Bill Balechak is involved, I think it's

totally fine. Anyway, yeah, it was Cam Newton. I mean, Alex Smith might be like, I would

say Alex Smith, Teddy Bridgewater. I'm trying to think of the small cadre of quarterbacks

who would not be deeply maligned for that. It's a small group.

There are not a lot of quarterbacks who are universal. You loved, but I think you have

the two. Yeah, the Alex Smith just earned it. And all you had to do with mutilate his

lake. My God, when it was bleeding last night, I was like, I'll watch this.

Wait, that's the common thread. We said Teddy Bridgewater and Alex Smith. Oh gosh. Oh,

I don't like that. Yeah, those guys are extraordinarily likeable. It's hard to think of someone

who, you know, like Frank Gore, maybe Frank Gore walks off the field with the ball. No
