Hello, Dumpty Dummers everywhere. Hello, Stephen. This is Jacqueline here. I just wanted to send a little message to let people know that I have decided to take my retirement from Dum to Dum after four years of regularly hosting the podcast.

0:15.0

My life's moved on a bit and I'm finding that the demands of having a retired husband is not conducive with my

0:23.3

concentration or getting ready to do the podcast. But I will continue to support dum-de-dum

0:29.9

and my love of the archers will never wane. I hope that I can continue to have contact with people.

0:36.3

I will always support dum-to-dum

0:39.0

and maybe in the future you'll still hear my voice if I stand in at times when there is

0:44.3

nobody else to do social media roundup, for example. And am I even call her in? I'll definitely

0:50.5

still be around on the Facebook page. And at the moment, it's still me doing the

0:54.4

Dumty Dumm Instagram page. So I am extremely happy to still be involved. I just am not going

1:00.6

to be a regular host anymore. But I want to wish everybody, the whole massive, lovely team at Dumty

1:06.6

Dum. All the best for carrying on. And thank you for the last four years. It's been an absolute hoot.

1:13.4

I've loved it. And I will, of course, continue to go to academic archers and such other events whenever I can.

1:21.5

I'll definitely won't be giving up that. It's such a great fix for any archers fan.

1:26.3

I've just enjoyed it all so much.

1:27.7

It's been absolutely brilliant and thank you.

1:29.7

And really, the person who needs the biggest support at the moment is Stephen who carries on after I've finished waddling away on a Saturday morning.

1:38.5

He then has three, four, sometimes five hours worth of editing to do.

1:42.7

So good luck, everybody.

2:01.1

Lots of love. Thank you for those kind words about the dumpty-dum team, Jacqueline. And thank you for all the hard work you've put into the podcast over the last four years, jumping in at a point where things were a bit wobbly. We will miss you greatly. But the show must go on. Rather than finding a single person to replace Jacqueline, for the foreseeableable future we will have a range of co-hosts, most of whom will be familiar voices from previous

2:05.3

guest hosting duties and from calls and other contributions, and we'll let you know who's coming

2:09.5

up each week. But for now, on with the podcast.

2:14.6

Don'ty, dumpty, dumpty dumpty downpty dum dum dumpty da da.
