Several times in my life now, I've had the pleasure of witnessing someone experiencing snow for the very first time. The first time I saw it happen was during my

freshman year of college. A girl who had lived in my dorm had grown up in

Hawaii and had never seen snow. When it began snowing for the first time

she ran outside and couldn't believe that white stuff was actually falling from the
