So you are a writer at The Punished Backlog where you write about gaming and you previously

wrote for 9-to-5 Mac. Do you want to on an overview of what you've been doing on the internet?

Yeah, yeah, absolutely. So for a while I was writing for 9 to 5 Mac where I covered everything

related to Apple. I've covered gaming a bit on there, even social media. And now I'm

writing for the Punished Backlog where I cover all things gaming.

Good, good. So let's dive right into it.

Apple's market for Mac gaming sort of comes and goes like the tide, you know, there was sort of a brief

heyday in the late 90s that they squashed with the transition to Mac OS 10, you know, the 10 years ago there was kind of like another heyday of Mac gaming when they

subsequently, when they shared so much technology with the PC side of things.

You could buy on Steam on the Mac

that they subsequently squashed by releasing

sort of mediocre computers at the end of the Intel era and then

switching processors again.

I would say that now, Apple is definitely trying to put renewed focus on Mac gaming and they're

sort of setting the table as well as they can by

developing the Mac gameporting toolkit by sharing so much underlying technology

with with iOS it seems like Apple's really trying to court
