your host Mike Milner. In today's episode, I'm going to talk about two hormones that I think

people really don't understand very well and I'm

talking about it today because I listened to a podcast over the weekend where

there was this guy who was talking about insulin.

He kept saying the exact quote,

insulin is the bad guy, like over and over again,

probably said it 20 different times during the episode and every time I died a little

inside because there was so much context missing and this is a podcast that gets millions of downloads every single month like

millions and millions it's one of the most popular podcasts on the planet.

I'm not going to mention what it is because I don't really like to bring attention to

misinformation.

And I know that it's a popular thing to do.

Like if you just go on Instagram you'll see all of these

slam pieces or whatever they call them where you play something and then you bash it and you talk about how awful it is and how

dumb it is and how could anybody believe this but the reality is that I don't

know if that actually works I would be really curious because my opinion is when you share something and you're trying to, like if you ask somebody, like why are you doing, why are you doing content like that?

Usually what they'll say is is I want to help people avoid

falling into this trap of misinformation which is which is valid and fair. But my

question is has anybody ever watched something like that and then like changed their mind?

You know, like somebody's spreading misinformation about insulin and then you do kind of like a slam piece on it.

And you're like, this person is a quack, they don't know what they're talking about.
