| 0:00.0 | What is up everyone? Welcome back to the epic gardening podcast. We're here with |
| 0:06.3 | Lisa Steele, the founder of Fresh Eggs Daily and the author of Gardening with |
| 0:09.6 | Chickens. We're going to be changing it up a little bit and talking about composting with |
| 0:14.7 | chickens. How can you incorporate some of the benefits of chickens into your |
| 0:20.4 | composting processes no matter what type of composting you're doing. |
| 0:23.0 | So I know I have some of my ideas based on some of the stuff that we've talked about this week, |
| 0:27.0 | Lisa, but I would love to hear from you how at your home and your garden do chickens fit into your composting routine? |

| 1:30.0 | So it's sort of a little bit of a different composting method, but you really don't need a compost pile per se. |
| 1:38.3 | I can honestly say we waste no food at our house. Literally nothing goes to waste because either the chickens |
| 1:45.1 | eat it, the dog eats it, or things like, you know, coffee grounds or tea bags or |
| 1:50.2 | egg shells or whatever can go right into the garden. |
