| 1:19.0 | Hamd is due to Allah Subhanahu wa Ta'ala. |
| 1:21.0 | What is Hamd? |
| 1:22.0 | Ibn Al Qayyim says, Hamd is the highest praise that the tongue gives while the heart is in awe and in majesty. |
| 1:32.0 | The highest praise that the tongue gives because of the blessings or because of the status of the object that is praised. |
| 1:40.0 | While the heart is full of ijlal of majesty and of respect to Allah Subhanahu wa Ta'ala. |
| 1:47.0 | So Hamd means you are praising an entity, the highest form of praise while your heart is full of humility and of awe. |
| 1:58.0 | And the being that you praise is worthy of being praised. |
| 2:02.0 | This is what Hamd means. |
