So great to be talking here to somebody who's kind of become a kind of a guest rock star over and over and over on the Strong Women podcast, I think on Upstream,

we've had webinars and conversations, and she's going to be one of our speakers at the upcoming

Wilberforce weekend event in May. Very excited to get this particular angle on our topic,

which is looking at the idea of the image of God as a central belief of the Christian

worldview. Also a critical theological grounding for our understanding of the cultural issues.

And I think it's also central to our cultural witness. But other than that, the image of God

isn't important at all. It only tells us what we should believe,

why we should believe it right now, and how we should talk to others. And Lisa Childers, of course,

is the author of the book, Another Gospel, which I know that many of you picked up when we featured

it several months ago. Lifelong Christian seeks truth in response to progressive Christianity.

And one of the things that struck me,

Lisa, first of all, welcome. It's great to see you again, and thanks for joining us.

Yeah, it's always great to be with you, John. Thanks for having me.

You know, I'm really disappointed that people missed our really, really funny joke at the

beginning of this when we're talking offline. Because I always have this panic moment with you. It's like, is it Alyssa or Elisa?

Yeah.

And you help me remember it, so I will never forget it again.

So share it so everyone knows it's Elisa Childers.

And how do we know that?

Yes, because often people say Alyssa Childers or something along this line.

But the best way to remember is just, it's like the name Lisa, but singular.
