we are going to talk about the designer client relationship complicated right Yeah. Yeah. Or does it have to be? Yeah. Hopefully not.

Hopefully you've always got her on speed dial or him and you're like hey you I was thinking about changing things up and he'll be like,

I know you, let's do it and he lights your fire or hers, she lights your fire and you

guys just know how to collaborate just right so. Does's sentences I think that's and that you'd want to go shopping together right yeah and we all want to have somebody you know whether it's just it's a friend or it's something it is a project and you have someone that you can lean on

because these are big expensive decisions that we're going to try and like lay it out for you

on what makes a successful relationship with your designer regardless of the size project you're embarking on.

Yeah, right?

Totally and help give you some ideas if you've never hired a designer before, kind of what to

look for as you're starting to get a designer because as we've experienced

for lots of conversations over you know 16 years people will sometimes come to us and say, oh, I had a designer and she did this, oh, I hope you

guys don't do this, or they'll talk about the pitfalls they had, and that helps us know,

make sure that we do this with them because that's important to them and if all

of that would have been communicated up front I'm sure their current designer

could have worked for them and so just getting really clear on what they're

good at what they're known for, what their calling

card is, then you'll know what to expect from them and what not to expect from them.
