We have seen him as a regular guest of Z Media's broadcasts, and it is so wonderful to be here with you in person, Jay.

Thank you. Yeah, we've done at least five least five six interviews and they're always really high quality so it's

nice to meet you in person and to have a good deep conversation on a book that

was very influential in my track towards orthodoxy I think I did a talk on

this maybe six seven years years ago, but I remember

basically what the whole layout of the book is, and I'm excited to get into it.

Me too, me too. So for the viewers today, the book that we're reviewing is Orthodoxy and

the Religion of the Future. It was written by Father Seraphim Rose, I believe first published

in 1974, if I'm not mistaken, Jay.

And really prophetic when we read back through this book right now.

It is.

I mean, the overview here is that he's warning the West about the dangers of alternative spiritualities and that there is a push from a lot of

powerful people to inculcate the West with Hinduism, Far Eastern ideologies, and Father

Sutherham Rose before he had become Orthodox studied those philosophies very deeply. I think he

majored and got a degree in Chinese philosophy and subsequently became Orthodox and then a monastic.

So the book deals with the way that these religions are tooled and engineered to deceive and

integrate people into what he saw as a beast system, as the potential antichrist-type

system.

Not saying it's necessarily the end of the world, but he definitely saw it as a potential

spiritual deception that could delude people into an anti-Christ religion.
