On July 4, 1949, Daniel Fry had missed the last bus into the nearby town of Las Cruces

from White Sands missile proving grounds in New Mexico.

Unable to sleep in his assigned quarters due to the heat, Fry ventured out into the desert

night and took to explore in a path he had never been down.

Soon after, Fry was confronted by what he claimed was a 30-foot spherical craft that landed

in front of him and he was invited on board by the pilot who allegedly took Fry on

a 30-minute flight from New Mexico to New York and back.

New Mexico being steeped in UFO lore and sightings would be the location for another puzzling

event 15 years later.

A police officer would find himself at the center of a military UFO investigation that

would go on record as being one of the few cases that could not be explained by the infamous

Project Blue Book.

This case file joined the theorists as they shift into high-speed pursuit of information
