Summary

If there's one this 2012's Prometheus needed, it's some explanations for what the hell just happened. And if there's one other thing it needed was to be exactly like the movies Alien and Aliens. The solution to both ended up being the 2017 sequel/prequel Alien: Covenant. Doing away with the previous lead character Elizabeth Shawit follows a new crew of expendable and stupid human beings who run afoul of Michael Fassbender's David along with the Xenomorph. But also you kind of want to follow up to Prometheus. So we're going to do a bit of both, but kind of neither. I think we can thread that needle and please everyone and not please no one.
