I'm the host Scott Feinberg, and on this episode we are joined by the It Girl of the Season,

27 year old Swede, Alicia Vikander.

She's the talk of the town for her beauty and style, for her rumored relationship

with Michael Fastbender with whom she'll soon be seen in Derek C. in France's The Light Between Oceans, and above all for her acting in two 2015 films, Ex Makina and the Danish

girl. She was a professional level ballerina who then almost went to law

school before breaking through as an actress in Sweden in the 2009 film Pure.

Her rise to international prominence was kick-started in 2012 with her starring performance

in Denmark's entry for the best foreign language film Oscar, A Royal Affair, and around the same time

her memorable supporting turn in Joe Wright's Anna Karenina.

This year though, she exploded in a very Jessica Chastain-S kind of way with seven films in release stateside.

Three of them weren't widely seen, seventh son, son of a gun and testament of youth.

Two of them were somewhat disappointing, the man from uncle and Burnt, but two of them have put her on the map to stay.
