In fact, I look forward to connecting with you every single day,

bringing you conversations that inspire you in your faith walk,

and that even heighten your awareness of God's very real presence in your life. Well, I love this. My guest today

writes this. We talk of love, but to love, to be loved, is to be known and valued and intrinsically

worthy of belonging. To love and be loved is to be a neighbor, to be a friend. We've made grace

contingent on a list of right

thoughts, right actions and conditions. Grace is not grace when we charge our neighbor a great debt to

earn it. We're talking about our need, our lack, and in those places where Jesus meets us,

you know, we tend to shun each other when we're in pain, walking through a valley when we have a

need. The world tends to despise such things because we celebrate results in status and position.

But Jesus came for the weak and the broken. And the fact is, even if people that don't look

like they have a lot of need, they're as desperate as anybody else. But it's in those weak places

...
