I am Andana D'Ani, creator and co-founder of the nonpartisan movement.

I am a voter.

So Mondana and I are best friends and we're constantly sending each other inspiring stories of people who

completely blow our minds and then one day we realized something.

Most of them had no intention of becoming heroes. They just knew they had to do

something and did it.

So we decided to do what we do best.

Completely geek out on endless hours of research to create our list of the 20 dissenters who blew us away.

Based on Ruth Bader Ginsburg's iconic I descent slogan,

a dissenter is someone who stood up to an injustice

or challenged the status quo,

someone who fought to build a better way.

Each episode we will meet one of these incredible accidental activists and learn all about

their journeys and how each one of us can make a huge difference.
