I am joined today by the hilarious and talented and fellow deer media podcaster Ali Colbert.

Hi, Ali. Hey. How are you? Good to be here. Are you with Yorker?

Oh, Ali, I'm in Salt Lake City. Oh, that's that was so coastal elite of me.

That was that is the third choice usually. People are like New York, LA or Salt Lake.

Like what is I remember reading that you it was based in Salt Lake. So I just forgot.

No, you're totally fine. It's really random. I'm from here. My husband and I are both from here

and we're we're ready to ready to go. Cool, but you're an LA. I'm an LA. Yeah. Okay, so I ask Ali to so

I open episodes with this a lot. It's just a segment that I do called Love Hate. But before we do

that, I would love to just talk about you. So you graduated college and then did you go right into the

page program? Yes, that was my first job after college was a page at NBC, which is like if you've

seen 30 rock, like was the was the page. It's the dream. Was it as magical as you thought it would be?

It's so not magical. It's exhausting and you work like six or seven days a week. You really don't

have much off time. The hours are pretty nutty and when you're not stationed at like a production

within 30 rock, you give tours of 30 rock. So like when people when tourists come to Rockefeller

Center and sign up to do a tour of like 30 rock, you're giving the tour. So that part was that's

really the most memorable part because I remember just like either I would test out material in the

tours or like, you know, I would get stuck with a fellow page you wanted to like really do a lengthy

tour. I'm like, let's get them in and out in 20 minutes. Like I want to go home like let's wrap this

up. What was like what are some of your favorite your favorite moments from your time as a page?
