Summary

No matter how watchful an eye we keep on our children, it is difficult to completely shield them from the bad in the world; this is especially true when a malevolent individual, or individuals, target them for harm. Even in quiet, seemingly safe suburban areas, we take this for granted. Everyone does because we feel like these things don’t happen to us…but they can. 2:11.0	their online activities, their cell phone use, and sometimes their location. Rules and guidelines are said. Parental controls are placed on electronic devices and social networking platforms.
2:24.0	We use any and all tools at our disposal to ensure that the encapsulated world we've created
2:29.6	to keep them safe from their naivety of the evil that sometimes seems pervasive in today's
2:34.9	society is foolproof. Essentially we bubble wrap our children. It's not difficult
2:41.1	to fall into a comfort zone to believe that we've done everything we can possibly do to protect our children.
2:47.0	But even for all of our careful planning and rigid smothering, we unknowingly take our children's safety for granted.
