I'm Mick Garris and this is post-mortem. I just want to say a little about our change of venue this season.

Our first series was done with Podcast 1. They are the world's biggest podcaster and it was quite an

honor to be asked to do a show for and with them. It was an amazing opportunity to

share our conversations with the widest possible audience and they were encouraging every step of the way.

They never objected to any direction I wanted to take the show and they were quite supportive.

But when it came time to decide on a second season, it became clear that it was not the perfect fit.

Most of the shows on Podcast One are hosted by radio and television celebrities, and I am certainly not one of those.

There are over 200 shows on their network

and one that appeals to a more niche audience,

specifically an audience devoted to horror and the otray,

can easily be lost in the shuffle.

We also had to deal with censorship issues, which is certainly something we in the genre are

not unused to.

But for these conversations to be freewheeling and honest, the bleeps for certain

four letter words were jarring at the very least. Like the best works in the genre, these talks

work best uncensored and we weren't able to go there unfettered.

Again, they never got in the way of anything we wanted to say.

It's just that some of those words got the axe.

Also, can I be honest about reading commercials for pet supplies and used car selling services?

I never wanted my representatives to put me up for commercials because I just don't want to sell

shit.
