Hey dear listeners, today's guest is the incredibly talented actress Alexandra D'Aario,

who you may know from the Percy Jackson movies, Baywatch, San Andreas, and the soon-to-be released

horror thriller We Sum in the Darkness, which will be available on digital and on-demand April 10th.

Before we begin the episode, I wanted to read a letter from Tori. Tori writes,

Hi Anna, I wanted to share my unqualified journey with you and give you some feedback.

I started listening to the podcast when I returned from a deployment beginning of 2019.

Back story, I'm in the Navy and was a female enlisted sailor stationed on a submarine,

kind of rare, it's a new thing for the Navy. I was only able to get through a few episodes before

my crew was sent out for another deployment. I have finally caught up. I wanted to tell you that I

really appreciate how you give advice to your collars and how you approach each problem differently.

There is no cut and dry answer for every situation because people are all different. For example,

you have a lot of collars ask questions about their long-distance relationships. Some seem

like they are okay with it and some are not. My now husband, Minnai, spent over a year and a half

apart with no communication other than email because of our opposing deployment schedules. It was

tough but we were the type of people who got through it. Another example is all the questions you

get about military problems. Every case is different and a lot of people in the military ruin it

for others. But the real challenge is just a matter of the military controlling every aspect of

our lives and the difficulty of getting time off. Anyways, I love the podcast and have been a huge

fan of yours since the beginning. Tori, thank you so much and clearly I love giving advice about

things that I know nothing about. We do get a lot of military calls and I would love more feedback

because it's an obviously an experience I've never experienced nor could I. I'm such a baby.
