They've reduced the waiting time for coaches for the NFL Hall of Fame to one year, and you keep bringing up Bill Belichick on that. Do you think that's a factor? Well, if he becomes a head coach, then he probably won't go into the Hall of Fame again, right?

So if he takes a job this offseason, that means that he probably won't.

Don't you have to be retired or out of the league for a year in order to be considered for the Hall of Fame?

What you just said, they used to be five years.

So if he doesn't take a job next year, he could be elected into the Hall of Fame. In 2026, as soon as 2026, if he's going to end up walking away. Do you think that would entice him to not take a job? Like, hey, maybe he'll turn down a job because he just wants to go into the Hall of Fame.
