Alec Murdoz lawyers are once again appealing his murder convictions. The disgrace South Carolina

lawyer was found guilty in 23 of killing his wife and son. In a new 132-page filing to the state

Supreme Court, Murdoz lawyers want the appeal granted on two grounds. One, they argue the court's

clerk pushed the jury to come back with a guilty verdict

for her own personal gain, saying she could sell more copies of a book she was writing about the

trial if he was found at fault. Second, they claimed the trial judge allowed improper evidence to be

presented, including evidence from his financial crimes and that there was very little physical evidence

tying Murdaught to the murders.

Prosecutors will be given time to respond and the justices will have time to read all the

materials, meaning any hearing related to the appeal will be months away.
