And we really, I think, starting with Andrew, shook up the movement in terms of our tactics,

in terms of guerrilla journalism, you know, surprising people by putting cameras in their faces,

undercover stories, and really targeting people with all we've got aggressive coverage until we got scalps.

We wanted to get scalps.

We identified a bad guy, and we would go for that.

I think that's pretty much the entirety of the right wing culture online. And the people who are

independent producers on social media, stuff like that, they don't have the same accountability

demands that I've got because I'm leading a newsroom of 100 people and we have millions and

millions of readers. And our stock and trade has got to be credibility. We can't get some that I've got because I'm leading a newsroom of 100 people and we have millions and millions

you know, just keep tweeting away. But also, I think we've inspired a lot of people online who are

doing very important work, but it is more, I would say, click-driven than what we do, which is, I would say, more just integrity-driven.

Your whole connection with Andrew Breitbart fascinates me because I was a huge fan of his and I

remember thinking, oh my gosh, this guy like, he's capable of doing things and

finding things and doing research that other people aren't willing to do. How did you two first meet?

Yeah, we had an amazing story. And there's a sports connection to it, which is that Andrew was a

speaker at a event for Young America's Foundation, which is a great group that's

known for bringing speakers to campuses. And they are sort of tasked with keeping up Ronald Reagan's
