Joel Pollock of Breitbart News confronted Joe Biden at the Iowa State Fair on the lie the Democrat Party won't let die.

Mr. Vice President, are you aware that you're misquoting Donald Trump in Charlottesville?

He never called neo-Nazis, very fine people? No, he called all those folks that walked out of that. They were neo-Nazis shouting hate. The veins bones. But he said specifically that he was condemning them. He said... No, he did not. He said he walked out and he said let's get this straight. He said there were very fine people in both groups. They're chanting anti-Semitic

slogans carrying flags.

Pollack was referencing this claim Biden made yet again in a recent speech.

When he said after Charlottesville, there were, and I quote, very fine people on both sides. I said then it gave license and safe harbor

to white supremacists and neo-Nazis and to the Ku Klux Klan. These words not only stunned

America, but they stunned the world. And in doing so, he assigned a moral equivalence, a moral equivalence between those spewing hate,

and those are the courage to stand against it.

The nefarious go-to slanderous claim of fine people on both sides is a democratic hoax.

It's simply not true.

Here again, for all to see is what President Trump said regarding the protesting citizens

in Charlottesville, Virginia, who he had actually been referring to, and the white

nationalists who he condemned totally on that August 15th, 2017 day at Trump Towers while dealing with a rabid

propagandized media swarm just three days after the incident at the Unite the Right

rally in Charlottesville, Virginia.

And you had some very bad people in that group, but you also had people that were

very fine people on both sides. You had people in that

group, excuse me, excuse me, I saw the same pictures as you did. You had people in that group

that were there to protest, the taking down to them a very, very important statue and the renaming
