If you remember a year ago at this time, we had the chance to speak with Alex

Corr, Red Sox manager about the upcoming season.

He's kind enough to join us again.

So Alex, thanks for doing this.

Let me start here.

A year ago, I remember asking you,

what should we expect from the Red Sox going into the season?

They were coming off a bad year and, you know,

which you were not a part of.

But things have obviously changed a lot.

So now you tell me, are the expectations the same or have they gone up? I mean, they're always up, you know, one thing

that we have to do is try to keep improving, right? We have a good baseball team. We're in a

better position than we were last year, but obviously the division is in a better

position that it was last year. There's four good teams that we all can make it to the playoffs,

and, you know, as you know, in baseball, anything can happen, right? We lost three in a row to

Baltimore to start the season, and we lost two out of three at the end of the season against them and they got some intriguing pitching uh I

still believe there's room for improvement we made some strides defensively you know adding

a story at second base that's a plus you've seen Rafi playing defense the last month.

We always talk about the potential of him becoming a good defender.

He seems like he finally got it, you know, and he's been amazing.
