that really kind of set the table for what was to come in

the 1980s. And of course, the dominance in the 90s for Tennessee. That 1979 season, the third

year of Johnny Majors here at Tennessee, very pivotal in what was to come for the decades

that followed. Two wins that Noah Taylor is going to break down again. Noah Taylor for

But first, I want to get into practice number six, some observations, some news, some notes that I observed from out on the practice field Wednesday morning for the University of Tennessee. I thought, I'm not going to bury the lead here, I thought the quarterbacks look pretty good, right? I don't know if there's any separation amongst Joey Aguilar and Jake Merklinger. I think Saturday is going to tell us a lot more in that regard. I think they've been, you know, solid. I don't think either one of them has been lighting the world on fire. I don't think either one of them has been just flat out abysmal. Now, again, we continue to reference last weekend a couple of routes on air sessions that the media was present for. It didn't look that great. It was pretty sloppy. And that wasn't just quarterbacks, right? That was a lot of past catchers as well that kind of contributed to that. But I thought the quarterbacks looked

really good the last couple of days. I mean, it was another solid day for Tennessee on Wednesday

morning in the Rout on Air session. And finally, they kind of let it air it out a little bit, right?

And we got to see some of these arms. And Joey Aguilar was the first team quarterback on

Wednesday while the media was on hand.
