The NFL season is back.

I am your host, Chris Clark from Chiefs Corner.

I've been covering this team for about nine years now on this podcast. I've been doing podcasting for about 10. Been covering the Chiefs for probably about 12 to 13 years. This is where you're going to find it all. We're going to have you covered every single day of the week on Locked on Chiefs. Thank you for listening. We really do appreciate it. There's going to be a ton we're going to be talking about today. We're going to talk about how this is a divisional start. And on the first week of the season, that is not something that's been normal for Kansas City is a huge game, week one for the chiefs. They'll talk about Mahomes and his receivers and their continuity leading into this game and what it's going to mean for this team.

But we're going to start talking about how the Chiefs are going to be heading to Brazil. In just a couple of days, they're going to be leaving on Wednesday to go down to Brazil to get ready for the game on Friday. Today on Locked on Chiefs, that's going to be our phone. Lots of stuff to talk about when we talk about this Kansas City Chiefs team and how it's going to relate to the Chiefs headed to Brazil.

This is a unique opportunity for Kansas City.

They're going to be playing in front of an international stadium and an international community. Going to Brazil is going to present its own issues for Kansas City. The travel is going to be an issue, but at least they're going to get an extra

day's rest since they're playing on a couple extra days rest since they're playing on Friday night.

Their flight, though, is going to be, I believe, between 14 to 15 hours just to get down to Brazil.

So the travel there is going to be significant.

The one nice thing is you're not going to be dealing with a ton of time zone changes.

So that is going to not have to play into as huge of a factor for Kansas City.

But Kansas City is kicking off the season.
