The book is the Making of Zombie Wars.

It's a very radical departure from his previous work.

Do you have a way of describing the tone of this book?

It's a comic novel.

There is also a roller coaster ride of violence and sex.

Well, that's being very good, but it's also about what happened to America in a certain way,

when Schlock took over and bad taste replaced literature, and you know a certain kind of commercial junk movie replaced movies as an art form.

And so it's a really American nihilistic nightmare. Yes or no?

Well, it also takes place at the time of the Iraq invasion when there was a corresponding

collapse of clear thinking.
