My guests are Alec Baldwin, who's the star, and the central figure of seducing the abandoned, is I'm Elvis Mitchell. My guests are Alex Baldwin, who's the star,

and the central figure of seducing the bandit, his writer-director, celebrating his 35th year in film.

His first film is writer-director was Fingers 35 years ago, Jim Tobach, James Tobach, Jim.

First of all, guys, thanks so much for doing this.

Thank you for having us.

First of all, the title, Seduced to the band. Let's start with that.

As you know, it's a bit of a theft. Pietro Jeremy, about 50 years ago, made a film called Seduto and Abandonato. This movie has absolutely nothing to do with it other than stealing its title.

But I mentioned the phrase, and Alec liked it, and I think once we knew that we had the title

we both liked, we just sort of backed from there to the start.

So if we had a movie called Seduced and Abandon, we had to make a movie that had some

reason for being called.

They had both seduction and abandonment.

Right.

The movie is set at the Cannes Film Festival.

You guys sort of started off with the premise of trying to find money to finance a film,

but then it becomes a much bigger thing than that.

And something I was saying to Jim Al, before we got started,

is I ended up rereading an American dream. And this movie, to some extent, feels like that Rojack quest, the in battle American hero, the veteran of many wars. And you then show business terms, you've been that, trying to go out and sort of stake this final claim from the world. And it felt to me like a very mailer-esque kind of thing, which only occurred to me a couple of days ago.
