I grew up in a Catholic home.

My mom was extremely devout Catholic, much more so than my dad.

I'm pretty sure we would not have gone to Mass every week if it had been left to my father.

He was an alcoholic.

He had a very serious drinking problem.

But my mom always made sure that we found our way to church every Sunday.

And so I grew up with a very strong belief in faith.

And much later on, I was baptized again, probably when I was a junior in high school,

in a Baptist church.

And through the years, have gone to different churches

of different denominations.

And so when I was in Washington,

we went to a very conservative Anglican church.

And then today, we're living here in Nashville,

we go to a Baptist church.

But if you ask my mom today, she would say, I'm still a Catholic, always a Catholic.

There's a pine wall for sitting on the hollandum.

He seems to have the whole morning out right in front of him

and everything he sings from the branch that he's sitting on.
