Good morning and welcome to the Independent Republic of Mike Graham right here on Talk Radio.

Imagine a scene, ladies and gentlemen, where the public voted for a government in name only.

That government never actually occupied Parliament, their leader never actually occupied Downing Street, and the country remained

entirely rudderless with civil servants unable to enact any kind of legislation or policy. Imagine

that, because that is exactly where we are. The Tories are in office but not in power,

the Labour opposition of running around in circles, trying to frustrate everything, it is now official we have completely lost the Brexit plot.

This morning for the first time, I actually feel some measure of despair at the state of our

political system, despite the defections of the TIG group, the setting up of a new Brexit

party by Nigel Farage, and the ludicrous machinations in Brussels with Donald

Tusk and his mates, the chumps in Westminster can't even agree on how many sugars to put in their

cappuccinos and their lattes. Surely there has to be a better way than this, doesn't there?

Is there anyone out there with an ounce of integrity or even some common sense?
