I didn't think it would happen in my lifetime. In Alaska, the governor has declared a state of disaster after the remnants of Typhoon Murbach caused unprecedented flooding.

The thousand miles of coastline was impacted by Typhoon Murbach. Hurricane force winds and over 50 foot waves.

One of the most destructive storms to ever hit that region.

Entire towns were completely submerged.

A little over a year after that catastrophic storm hit Alaska,

I flew up the western coast.
