Today on Geopolitics and Empire, we speak with stockbroker, banker, economist, and head of research for gold money, Alasdair MacLeod.

That's my pleasure.

Well, I wanted to discuss your two latest articles on gold money,

America's financial war strategy and end of empire. Your analysis is always very serious, technical,

written matter-of-factly and backed by hard data. It cuts right to the heart of the historic

and tectonic shifts of empire we are all currently witnessing.

At one point I wanted to focus on was a focal point of your first article, Chinese general

Chiao Liang's 2015 speech on the US as the first financial empire in history.

One of the last recommendations I was given by my mentor and geopolitics instructor in Geneva back in 2008 was to read Chia Liang's 1999 paper on restricted warfare, discussing lawfare and economic warfare as means to supplant U.S. military might.

Essentially, Empire America is doing all it can to preserve the U.S.

established Bretton Wood system, and this includes taking out Saddam Hussein, who threatened

this system by switching to euros or wanting to, and destroying Yugoslavia, one of my

homelands, to eliminate the potential of the euro as a competitor.

The foundation for understanding this is what the Chinese general describes as the dollar

cycle index, and you write about.

As soon as the dollar goes weak, another war abroad is initiated to distract and to prop

up the dollar.

Now, can you speak more to Chiao Liang, his importance, and this dollar cycle index,

and how that relates to the wars started by Washington?

Yes, of course.

I think what he says is very, very important, and we really should take note.
