Summary
American missionary doctor, Peter Stafford has tested positive for Ebola after treating patients in the Democratic Republic of Congo. Stafford along with this physician wife, their four children and another physician have all been flown to Germany after being exposed to the virus. Meantime, the World Health Organization has now updated the number of suspected cases and deaths, which have been described as a “sharp rise” since the outbreak was first reported over the weekend.
