I have the privilege of hosting Bridget, but I even have a greater privilege than that,

and that Bridget's my sponsor and a member of my home group.

You know, I got really, really lucky because what I considered my first real Al-Anon meeting

I stumbled upon was the actual founding of our home group.

And I walked in there and it's kind of a running joke in our group as I came in and I saw

two church ladies, Martha Stewart and Alan on Barbie.

And she is my sponsor, so I will pay a price for that.

The great news is, is rigid, is absolutely as beautiful on the inside as she is on the outside.

And she has given me things that I will absolutely never be able to repay to another living human

being as long as I live.

And I am grateful to her in the Al-Anon program.
