Mary welcomes back Alana Arguello to continue our conversation around her exhaustive work, “Unearthing Yoga’s Ancient Roots”. Both believers and unbelievers alike think they understand paganism and practices like Yoga, but in reality, Yoga is not a practice – it is an idea. Think about it: if Satan convinced mankind to think they can become gods or even are gods, how does that look in practice? How do they get there, how to they act god-like? By practicing something that is no more real than their thinking they can be gods! Paganism, philosophy, delusion, are all part of the alt-beliefs that are diametrically opposed to revealed truth. God IS truth, it is not just “part” of Him. He cannot be separated from truth itself. Philosophy, long held to be a lot of hot air designed to explain away our world apart from God, is a fascinating subject and enlightens us to the rebellion against our Maker.
