Our guys today we have two people on the show and that is Alan Smith and Jessica Midkiff

and so they're the co-authors of the book Men Fight For Me, the role of authentic masculinity

in ending sexual exploitation and trafficking.

So both of them work with a nonprofit called Saving Innocence.

That's an organization that basically serves and empowers and advocates for child victims

of sex trafficking.

Alan is the executive director for Saving Innocence and Jessica is actually a survivor

of sex trafficking.

So she was sold for sex thousands of times over a 10 year period in her life while she

was a child and she spent the last decade plus advocating for it and helping younger

victims of sex trafficking basically regain their mental and physical health and their faculties

and it's just an amazing thing that we were able to even talk to her.

But this is going to be a little bit different than we've done interviews in the past, especially

when we've had two other guests.

So the first person I'm going to talk to is Alan by himself and we're going to talk about

the book.

We're going to talk about some of the things that go into sex trafficking in the United

States and some numbers and some things to look for.

It's a really good time and good interview with him.

And then I'm just going to go right in.
